Welcome to CourageousAndOutrageous.com
Becoming Courageous & Outrageous
We are a new hybrid - trying to find the most exciting, the most fruitful
and the most organic way to use the next 30 or 40 years.
If you didn't
know how old you were, how old would you be?
Becoming Courageous & Outrageous came about when Pat Nichol realized that in the year 2000 she would be sixty. At last! An age of Wisdom; an opportunity to share all the knowledge that she had learned. But no, to realize that there is so much to learn with each day bringing new wonders. When she colored her hair purple for the first time, she learned that everyone has a story to tell and all they need is a nudge in the right direction to share that story. She learned that impossible simply means I'm Possible. That we are never as old as our birth certificate says.
During this session, we discuss:
- Transition, Endings and Beginnings, Flexibility
- Change, Choices and Options, Advantage
- Learn how to spend time with passionate people
This presentation works equally well for small and large groups. It led Pat to becoming a columnist for Senior Living Magazine.

Be who you are
Practice what you know
Teach what you learn
Continue to grow...
Just Imagine
Just imagine that
You are smarter than you know
More courageous than you guess
Stronger than you feel
Healthier than you are aware
More capable than you realize
You are more powerful than you think
More attractive than you assume
Wiser than you suppose
More valuable than you have ever been told
And you are able to make a difference in the world
That you have not yet begun to see

Now in her courageous and outrageous years, Pat's life experience
and enthusiasm for learning, sharing and connecting make her an
insightful, wise and dynamic speaker.

| In 2005 after seeing the movie Calendar Girls, Pat thought out loud that if ever asked to pose, she would be delighted. Be careful of what you wish for. Less than one week later, Pat was approached along with 11 other women in Victoria to pose for a calendar as a fund raiser. We had such fun that year. |
